This is an exciting time for Greater Grimsby as significant new investment into culture and major regeneration initiatives combine to transform the economic and social future of North East Lincolnshire.
In early 2019, the area was awarded £3.2m by the Government’s Cultural Development Fund (CDF) to deliver a new programme of international events (New Commissions), increased business support for the creative industries (New Horizons) and an opportunity to establish a new production facility in the town’s historic centre (New Spaces).
The role of Programme Manager will be to manage and coordinate the commissioning, delivery and evaluation of the Cultural Development Programme, in line with the delivery plan. You will track all completed work, set deadlines, delegate tasks and manage any potential risks or opportunities. You will also be expected to work closely with a newly appointed Strategic Lead - Culture, supporting them to develop opportunities and partnerships linked to the programme.
This is a new post that will work in partnership across organisations and across sectors, so the post holder will need experience of high-level stakeholder management and a background working with multiple funders. You will also need a strong background in delivering capital and revenue projects developed via multi-agency partnerships and will be able to demonstrate the role you played in project and partner management.
With huge potential for artistic and cultural development across North East Lincolnshire and the funds to catalyse the growth of the creative industries; this is a pivotal role with the resources and scope to transform Greater Grimsby for this and future generations.
Interviews will be held w/c 7th October 2019.
If you require any further information or wish to discuss the opportunity please contact Drew Hughes – Commissioning & Relationship Manager on 01472 323434.
