Worthing Theatres and Museum have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced AAT or higher qualified Accountant. We are looking for a confident, motivated and hardworking individual who will be central in setting up financial procedures as the Culture Department spins out from the Council to become a charitable trust.  You will preferably have experience in the charitable arts sector and you will provide accurate and effective management accounting.

The successful applicant will have excellent administrative and IT skills and thrive in a busy environment. We are looking for someone who will take initiative, is comfortable with a heavy workload and able to prioritise their work effectively, whilst maintaining effective communication with internal departments and external parties.

The Council also offer an excellent pension and benefits including an employee assistance programme. The successful applicant will transfer from the Council under TUPE to the charitable Trust.

This role will be subject to the confirmation of the Culture Department of Adur & Worthing Councils transferring to a charitable trust.
