Senior Occupational Therapist - Redhill

£39,438 to £43,744 per annum pro rata, depending on experience for 21.6 hours per week based at Consort House 5-7 Queensway, Redhill, Surrey RH1 1YB. This is a 12 months fixed term contract.

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Countywide team providing professional Occupational Therapy service to children, young people and families in living in Surrey.

The senior occupational therapists role focus is on social care intervention. The post holder will carry a complex caseload providing occupational therapy assessment, advice, and support for children and young people with a wide range of needs and will include completing risk assessments, assessments for provision of specialist equipment, and making recommendations for major and minor adaptations.

You will work alongside our experienced specialist team of occupational therapists, social workers and support workers. We are able to offer access to formal and informal learning opportunities, support and supervision that encourages therapists to be creative and innovative and to continuously develop their skills. 

The role holder works under the supervision of team manager O.T.

The role is for 18-22 hours per week based in either Redhill or Woking.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational therapy and HCPC registered
  • We will accept applications from occupational therapists with experience in social care and preferable children's service
  • Full driver's license and access to a car for use at work, or ability to attend site visits required. An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for these positions
